When someone like a judge secretly slanders you; refuses to meet you; refuses to investigate the murder of your sixteen year old child; colludes with very perverted and corrupt criminals and Police Scotland (also criminals); and you are aware that this is very wrong but that you need to protect your younger child from any harm; you know you are up against something that you cannot fight yourself. It is best to stay silent - at least for a while! Protect your child! Do not shout too loud! Write, observe, survive and heal. The time will come when you have to fight. But during the grieving time (a very long time when you lose someone at the very beginning of a beautiful life); when your child has just been murdered, and your only other child is suffering, probably (hopefully) the biggest injustice of his life, you have to remain totally calm. You have to focus on your other precious boy and protect him like the Iron Dome over Israel. You have to meditate, not in the sitting position - in the standing, walking, working, being positions. You meditate, reflect and exist, like the special entity that you are. That is all you need to do at that time. Pain is what Buddha needed to expand his consciousness and pain is what makes you conscious. Profound human pain. It is only when we experience the profound do we realise our limitations and our true selves.
The human healing process has nothing to do with criminals and it is a time to connect with your consciousness and the meaning of life. This time is for you and your closest other humans. It is not a time for politics, media, literature or legal issues. It is your humanity.
Your life is a gift! Nobody dies completely. I believe in reincarnation in the way many non-western religions do. We become something else when we die and are still connected for a long time, we just cannot use our human senses to see, touch, smell, hear or get feedback from the person we love and lost. But, they existed in human form and we had the privilege of being in their presence for that time. I imagine my son Danny is now a beautiful, wild peacock or a water monitor or some other majestic animal, because he loved animals and nature. He even owned a small garter snake at one point.
The whole 'other realm' we do not quite see, cannot quite touch, is beyond the capacity of our human brains to understand, I believe is what is at the essence of human nature. The things we don't know, don't understand but do have a pattern. Donald Goffman suggests we can begin to see this, and experience our true consciousness by dumping the VR headset (time, speed and distance). Quantum entanglement is the beginning of the expansion of our consciousness.
But, back to the criminals.
Societies create their own morality - it is a backwards and forwards process. There may be more than one set of moral codes operating in one society. If you did a multivariate analysis, you might find hundreds, even thousands, all connected in ways which are determined by the investigator. But, even that might not get you close to the truth. It is only ever an approximation because the variables you use can only ever be the ones you understand, include and are already within your own limited consciousness. Other variables are the 'unknown unknowns' I spoke about in my other blog piece. Things you have never been aware of and are not even aware that you are not aware of. You could also be very intentional in a very bad way when you select these variables and create the 'moral realities', by claiming only certain things are relevant to a certain narrative you want to create. This is how ideology works! You choose the narrative. You promote the narrative. You can't or won't challenge the narrative. You exclude all other alternatives to 'THE NARRATIVE'. Your epistemological fields are limited by your own self-awareness, consciousness and the other fields of knowledge you include or ignore. It is all choice!
Where is Danny now?
If you have ever truly loved someone and would give your life for them, they never truly leave you. My sons are always with me. I just wish I could see their photos and the things now and then that we/they made when we were together. Valentine cards; stories about their friends and teachers at school; their favourite books - Roald Dahl books; Harry Potter books; wildlife books; books about astronomy and physics; their certificates and report cards; memories, sad and happy of the beautiful time we had together from 1989 to 2011, until my last child left.
Our lives do not always take the path we expect. But, you must find peace and not be sad.
When the time comes for the fight, be ready!
My battle with Police Scotland, Judge Colin Boyd
I knew, when my son was murdered, that whoever murdered him had convinced those who knew he had murdered my son, to stay silent and cover it up. Colin Boyd choose to just stay silent and not even explain - that is how powerful he was/is. Like many powerful criminals, they know their power and enjoy it. It is not incompetence. This was my first experience of high level corruption and police corruption. A grieving mother, isolated by the story being circulated by two tabloid newspapers (who claimed my son did not live with me 'for some time' and I was not his next of kin) and Police Scotland, is not able to fight such enormous injustice on her own and the lawyer I got, in my grieving state, was also the lawyer for The Daily Mail, or Daily Record (I can't remember which one - it is in the book above) one of the newspapers slandering me. Fred Tyler refused to challenge their assertions or ask for compensation, instead choosing to focus on the sleeping pills my son was given (which were not the cause of Danny's death because there was only a tiny amount in his system). Police Scotland claimed he was found at the bottom of a high rise block of flats, no broken bones, no drugs or alcohol in his system.
Tyler, I believe took advantage of my vulnerable and grieving state, deliberately avoided real questions, and deliberately botched the medical negligence claim, by delaying the investigations, making them unachievable due to the statute of limitation and my loss of legal aid allowances. He worked the system so that I could not challenge the tabloid and then choose a doctor who claimed he would give a child at sixteen a full two week supply of sleeping tablets, not meant for anyone under 18 years old.
Not once did Tyler suggest pursuing Colin Boyd and the FCDO for not investigating the murder of my son. Not once did he suggest we should get more information. Not once did he suggest we get all reports available from Police Scotland et al.
Who wanted my son to have sleeping pills? (my mother) Who changed his doctor from the one he had since birth? (my mother) What plans did they have to do to a child who was taking sleeping tablets? What did they do to my child and what did they take from his house after he died, when I found my mother and half-brother in his council house (which he had been given at the request of my council worker mother) after he died?
I did manage to get an apology from both newspapers and it was printed online, in their newspaper and on the Press Complaints Commission's website. The letter of apology is included in my book: The Rapist's Child by Morna Constable
